my dream is to go to times square one day to ring in the new year. as i sit here, babysitting, about to go check on the little girl who is recovering from bronchitis and is coughing away in her sleep. listening to fireworks outside the window. talking to my new best friend online. trying to deal with the strange feeling that always comes when i say ‘happy new year.’ its just..weird.
